The things you love are the reason to live, but love can not exist without fear, the fear of loosing those things. But sometimes, you have to put away those feelings of fear, and just give yourself completely to that which you love. It is in doing so, that we only ever really live.

There is no good and bad; there is right and wrong and perspective.
~ Pherrell Ryde
In the still of time, in the dark of space, in the fear of night, in the end; there is madness.
~ Pherrell Ryde
Death is a loss so profound it creates,
in the hearts of loved ones, a void;
and in their memories it gives bloom
to a sweet agony that burns as if with ice,
all those who dare not forget the life that was lived.
~ Pherrell Ryde
To be better than one’s own self; is to be the master of one’s own nature,
the liberator of one’s own mind, and to know the depths of one’s own soul.
In short it is the greatest challenge sentient life will ever face.
And it is a challenge we are given everyday of our lives.
~ Pherrell Ryde
You can’t fault a person for being themselves.
But you should expect better from those you call your friends.
~ Pherrell Ryde
Fear is for mortals, to look upon and speculate.
To them it is the unknown, the uncertain, the indefinable and it’s repercussions.
And so, it is their disillusions on life, and the there after; that cloud the true face of fear from their sight. Mortals simply do not understand. But a dead man… one who greets death as an old friend and rival, only one such as he who faces it can know fear for what it truly is, the finality of his life.
And so you see the face of fear is the certainty of what the last embrace will feel like.
For a life lived well the last embrace is a warm and friendly hug. For a life lived badly it is a cold and empty thing. You asked me ‘what I fear?’ but I’m afraid you did not, and indeed may not until your final hour, fully comprehend in its entirety what it is you have asked.
And yet I will say to your question, this: nothing.

Human beings…
are the only creatures on Earth, that claim a God;
and the only living thing that behaves like it hasn’t got one.
Does the world belong to no one but you?
~ The Lobster In The Tank, from “The Rum Diaries” (2011) ~
“Possibly my favourite quote of all time on the topic of God and Humanity, relativistically speaking.”  ~ Pherrell Ryde
How far can a man be pushed before he no longer cares?
How long can a man be hurt before it no longer matters?
How much can a man be made to suffer before he looses hope?
How many lights does it take to pierce even the darkest hours?
~ Pherrell Ryde

Mind on the clouds,
Heart on the wind,
Eyes on the horizon,
Back against the wall,
Where is this all going?
And when did it go wrong?
Why have I got this feeling?
Sitting on the ground,
at the edge of the world.
What a sorry state of disillusion,
How did it ever end up like this?

~ Out on the balcony.

I often wish that I had made the better choice - I’m always aware of all my options, though I don’t always take the best path, and then that’s only because there’s a part of me that’s just a lazy little human; now that is a part of me I could do without, permanently.

I more frequently wish that events in my life had worked out differently, and in so many ways; but never the people in it. Life is a mix of experiences, good ones, and bad, which is precisely what makes living it interesting; yet, were it not for friends, life wouldn’t be worth it’s pains.

Im bipolar. Guess even my genes have a magnetic personality.

It’s always darkest before the dawn, calmest before the storm, and hardest before the pain’s gone.
Life, is for those who dare to live it.
